The man wore an air of menace like a suit of armor as he blithely sat down across from the artist. He was completely bald and insisted on cradling a fat persian cat which he stroked persistently. The artist had sat face to face with some of the most dangerous men on planet and was not easily impressed. Still, his eye was transfixed by the sharp scarlet scar that cut down across the entire right side of the man's face. He obviously thought that the monacle he wore so ridiculously in his right eye would distract one's gaze, but the artist saw it for what it was. A childish affectation.
"You take debit, I presume?" the man queried. His voice rich with disdain.
The artist bristled but maintained an air of calm. "Of course Sir. Would you care for color or black and white?"
The man cocked a cold stare at him through his unlikely eye piece. "That depends. How talented are you? I may choose to have this framed for my secret volcano labora...ummm...bathroom."
The artist smiled disingenuously. Without his eyes. "I assure you Sir, I'm very experienced."
 The comically bald man decided to press his attack. "That may be, but what about your medium? I have no knowledge of your preferred inks and pastels. Are they color fast? And what about your choice of paper? These things must be considered before I can make an informed decision."
The artist gave nothing away as he reached to his left for a waiting arctic cold Vodka Martini and took a long sip. "All this for a simple caricature" he thought.
The artist set down the glass and glanced almost contemptuously at the man. "Paper?" he asked. " I only use Bond. Strathmore Bond."
